Tom Cruise has just released a video of himself hanging out of an aircraft just before skydiving over ‘sunny South Africa,’ thanking everyone for supporting his last film, ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’
The movie star is currently in South Africa filming for his next movie, ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.’
In the clip, Cruise says, ‘Hello every one, here we are over stunning South Africa. We’re filming ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning’ parts one and two. I didn’t want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the movie theatre and thank you for supporting Top Gun: Maverick.’
The short video was taken moments before jumping from the aircraft to skydive, with his film director telling him to hurry up for the scene.
Dropping from the plane, he continues, ‘Where was I? Oh yeah, thank you for supporting ‘Top Gun!’ As always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honour of a lifetime. I’m very lucky.’
Part one of his new film is set to be released in 2023, and the second part in 2024, reports Cape Town Etc.
