Just days after being hit by a heatwave, hail and flooding are battering parts of northern Spain.
Fox News says that a ‘supercell thunderstorm’ also hit parts of the southeast region of Spain on Thursday, 6 July. The storms have ‘produced rainfall, hail, and turned streets into raging rivers.’
Videos have circulated showing cars being swept away in the floods and icy water running through the streets.
Authorities have said that although several evacuations and water rescues have occurred, no fatalities have been reported.
