In a unique spectacle, Gavin Ellard, a Kruger enthusiast, witnessed and captured an interesting game of theft between a crocodile and an eagle in Pafuri Border Rest Camp in the northern part of the park.

As a crocodile was relaxing with its catch, a hungry fish eagle was watching from above and wanted in. Highly determined, it landed on the banks to watch closely.
The crocodile devoured its catch, and the warthog was reduced to leftovers in no time. The brave eagle made an attempt to swoop in swiftly before it was all gone.
However, the crocodile would not left go of its catch without a fight (and perhaps the chance at another potential easy catch). Watch the video below to see how it all unfolds, courtesy of Latest Sightings:
