Scotland’s Highland cows are arguably the planet’s most adorable ruminants. In a bid to combat wanderlust pangs, VisitScotland launched a Coo Cam, allowing people to experience the country’s famous cows.
‘The animals were filmed throughout November enjoying their day-to-day lives against the breath-taking backdrop of Kitchen Coos and Ewes near Newton Stewart and Swanston Farm in the Scottish capital,’ reads VisitScotland’s website.
The footage was captured by a farm professional, explained VisitScotland, who care for the animals on a daily basis.
Plans are afoot to release new videos across VisitScotland’s social media platforms throughout the course of 2021.
Highland cows have wavy, woolly coats that add to their lovable look. Their coats come in a myriad of colours, including red, ginger, black, dun, yellow, white, grey, tan, silver and brindle.
Visitors are advised to not approach Highland cattle when exploring the country, so as not to alarm them.
