Llandudno, a town in North Wales, was taken over by a herd of Kashmiri goats amid the UK’s lockdown precautions.
According to Al Jazeera, the goats usually wander freely nearby on a piece of land which extends into the Irish Sea. However, since Llandudno’s streets are deserted due to the UK’s strict social distancing measures, the animals have made their way into the town.
When this is over I vote we let the goats keep Llandudno. It’s their city now. pic.twitter.com/ksWoZvWQ7Z

Carol Marubbi, the towns councillor, said that the goats don’t often find themselves in Llandudno. She speculated, however, that they must have realised something odd was happening since no people were in sight.
‘They are curious, goats are, and I think they are wondering what’s going on like everybody else,’ Marubbi told the BBC.
The herd, which wondered into the North Wales town, consisted of about 122 goats. Since they arrived, they have been feasting on the local vegetation and flowers, according to BBC.

Marubbi added that the people of Llandundo are very proud of the goats and that the animals were serving as great entertainment as residents watched from their windows.

Andrew Stewart, a videographer at Manchester News MEN, has been following the goats’ expeditions closely. By the looks of it, the goat news is an ongoing development.

I think I just got a group of goats in Llandudno arrested.
Let me explain… first, I saw this from inside a dark pub (the one I live in currently). I thought I was seeing things. So I took some video: pic.twitter.com/RtxYG6htLC
