Well, everyone knows that a jaguar isn’t a beast to be messed with, but this is taking things to a new level: this caiman is beeeeg. After showing off his impressive swimming skills (did you know that jaguars are the most water-loving of the big cats?) this massive male takes to stalking along the riverbank. As the narrator says: seeing as jaguars eat over 85 different sorts of species, this is the equivalent of wandering along a buffet-line. Instead of the frogs or small rodents he might have been looking for, however, he spots something more likely to hit the spot.
Although jaguars are known to employ the killing-method used by lions (a deep throat-bite and suffocation) this video shows their other option: seeing as they have some of the strongest jaws in the cat family, they’re able to bite straight through the skull and crush the brain. Don’t mess with them.
